Grace Church Beckenham is a new venture with the FIEC, Co-Mission and Christ Church Bromley helping to bring the Good News about Jesus Christ to this part of London

about sharing

...the good news of Jesus Christ. We want to give each person in all the Beckenham area every opportunity to respond to Jesus — our rescuer and ruler.

We want to be a place where 'people like me love people who are not like me' in a committed church family.

to grow

We know we're not all we should be and we want to become like Jesus in every area of our lives. And we want lots of people to join us on the journey!

Devoted to generosity

We want to become generous like Jesus. We want our lives — our time, energy and money to be used to serve Jesus and his world.

Join us online Wednesday evenings at 8:00 PM for reflections, interviews and Q&A on the current situation facing all of us.

If you'd like to talk through the big questions of life,

especially in the light of Coronavirus, we'd be happy to help.

We're planning to run our Life Explored course as a webinar or would be happy to chat online with individuals.

If you'd simply want to discover more about Christianity please visit Christianity Explored

Matt Dew-Jones

Matt, Mary and the family have moved to Beckenham so that Matt can serve as a pastor. Matt's originally from Salisbury, but has lived in London for the majority of his life. He trained at Oak Hill Theological college and before moving to Beckenham worked as Associate Pastor for St Peter's Barge in Canary Wharf. In his spare time, Matt can be found spending time with the family or playing/watching sport (though there's more watching than playing these days!)

Stephen Lock

Stephen was born and educated in Beckenham and has always lived  in the local area. He worked for the Government for 36 years, and then as part-time Operations Director for a local Church, before 'retiring' from paid employment. He is married to Stella and is now kept busy with Grandchildren (when not helping out with Church admin). Any leisure time tends to be focused on sport (watching!) and music—Stephen is a keen musician and sings in a local choir.

Simon Cooke

Simon lives in Bromley with his wife Jenny and their 3 children. He grew up in Essex where he came to know Jesus through the witness of his family. Simon spends his working week in the City trying not to lose other people's money. He claims to be able to play the double bass, bass guitar, drums, cajon, trumpet, piano, and various synths—some of his claims are more believable than others...
