The values that motivate us

Relationship

We were made for the joy of knowing God and each other (John 17:3, 21). We're committed to knowing God through Christ more and more and to being a united, diverse community where ‘people like me love people who aren’t like me.’

Trusting

Jesus can be trusted with our lives and our deaths. We are weak and fallen yet His death takes the penalty we deserve and His Spirit makes us like Him. We're committed to prayerfully and joyfully trusting him.

Serving

We were made to serve Jesus and each other. We're committed to turning from self-service, to serve our Lord, His people and His world.

Listening

Jesus speaks today through the Bible and, as His Spirit works, he saves us and changes us as we hear. We're committed to carefully listening to Him alongside each other.

Speaking

Jesus sends us to speak for Him. We're committed to loving His world by speaking of our Lord and Saviour.

Growing

We know we're not all as we should be and we want to become like Jesus in every area of our lives. As we grow, we want lots of people to join us on the journey!

We aim to Exalt Jesus by seeing people come to him and grow in him. That means we aim to Engage our community, Explain Jesus' message, Establish each other as Jesus' followers and Equip each other to serve. If God chooses to give growth, we commit to Export in mission and Church planting.
